Duena Blomstrom is an independent digital banking consultant, FinTech specialist, and blogger. For the past 18 years, she has worked as a strategist and consultant within the telecom and finance worlds. Duena is on a crusade to teach the FinTech industry that stilted, corporate language will get us nowhere. She is passionate about getting financial institutions to embrace the concept of "emotional banking" and to stop thinking about feature sets and start thinking about customers' feelings.

Through his investment company Velocity Capital, Willem Willemstein invests in real estate, public markets, and venture capital. Velocity Capital Private Equity is his, fully owned, venture fund that invests in early stage financial services technology companies across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the US. Before Velocity Willem was co-CEO of Petroplus that he co-founded in 1993. Before Petroplus, Willem had a successful career as a corporate banker at ING. Willem holds a BSc degree with honours from the HEAO business school in The Hague. He holds a MBA degree from Erasmus University in Rotterdam and the William E. Simon School of Management of the University of Rochester (New York, USA).

Allard joined Velocity Capital Private Equity in 2011. Velocity is a Dutch based venture capital firm that focuses on early stage fintech companies. In 2006, Allard co-founded, San Francisco based, online stock-broker Zecco. He served as COO of Zecco until 2010. Zecco, a Velocity portfolio company, merged with Tradeking and sold to Ally Financial in 2016. Allard was associate partner at the Dutch strategy-consulting firm Boer & Croon. Before Boer & Croon Allard was co-founder and CEO of TradingCars.com, an online B2B market place for the trade in new passenger cars. Allard holds an MSc Management degree from the London School of Economics. He also holds a MA Political Science and Philosophy from Leiden University.

Gummi is currently product management director at Google. He joined Google in 2014 through the acquisition of Emu, a chat based virtual assistant startup he founded in 2012. Prior to Emu, he was VP Product at Siri, and stayed on for the acquisition by Apple through the launch of Siri on iPhone 4S. Prior to Siri/Apple, Gummi was a senior product manager at Google, where he managed the initial launches of Google Maps for mobile and Google Voice Search. Gummi holds an MBA degree from MIT and a B.Sc. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Iceland.

Svana lived in the Netherlands for 18 years and moved back to Iceland in 2009. Svana has an international MBA from Nyenrode University in the Netherlands. Part of the program was taken at the Kellogg School of Management in USA and at the Stellenbosch University in South Africa.

Ásgeir is responsible for the technical architecture, development and operation of Meniga’s solutions. Ásgeir holds a CSc degree in Electric Engineering from the University of Iceland and MSc degree in Investment Management (MSIM) from Reykjavik University and has 20 years of experience of software development and management of top-tier software development teams. In his previous role at Landsbanki, Ásgeir led the team responsible for developing Landsbanki’s world-class online banking solutions for over 3 years.
