Leading tech news outlet Sifted created their list of the top European fintech startups to follow in 2020. With financial technology rapidly changing the landscape of how people interact with money, it’s no wonder there’s a sharp focus on the startups and the impact they will have on financial services.
“Financial technology is by a long way the hottest start-up sector in Europe in terms of money raised, with €23bn of venture money flowing into fintechs since 2015”. — Sifted
Working in partnership with dealroom.co, reporters from Sifted vetted each company focusing on data, strategy and the potential challenges they may face as in the process of their digital transformation.
Companies were thus selected based on money raised, hiring rate and how formative they have been to the startup ecosystem.
Sifted aims to provide the most comprehensive coverage of Europe’s startup world, which includes some 630,000 companies across the region from Dublin to Moscow, from Stockholm to Tel Aviv. Sifted will produce original and insightful coverage of this emerging economy as well as curating the best material available from other content providers.
