In September we announced our partnership with leading Portuguese national financial group, Grupo Crédito Agrícola, in launching together its new digital banking app, moey!

The moey! app is free to use and relies on Meniga’s technology as an engine for categorization and enrichment. This provides Crédito Agrícola customers with a more immersive and interactive experience. With zero costs attributed to account opening or maintenance, the app offers an easy-to-use and secure solution for everyday banking and will grant customers access to payment services including Apple Pay, MB WAY, Android Wallet and Group expenses.

On Wednesday Nov 6th at 11:25–11:45 am Meniga’s Chief Revenue Officer, Jakub Piotrowski, will be joining Crédito Agrícola’s Director of Innovation & Digital Ricardo Madeira on the Corporate Innovation Summit stage at Web Summit in Lisbon in a fireside chat.

The discussion will be moderated by journalist Rosália Amorim of Dinheiro Vivo where she will be addressing questions such as: What is moey!? Why did Crédito Agricola launch moey!? What were the main challenges? What are the most interesting areas for improvement for retail banks? Can banks be more socially responsible? Is open banking putting banks at risk?

If you are in the area please get in touch or stop by the Moey! booth #E201 in hall 2 and we would be happy to meet up for good conversation!
