We are very excited to welcome Åsa Bengter to the Meniga team. Åsa will take on the role as VP of Rewards where she will lead Meniga‘s cashback rewards business unit in Stockholm and Helsinki. She will also join Meniga‘s executive management team. Aage Reerslev, the former CEO of Wrapp, will take on a new role as part of Meniga’s senior advisory board.
Following our acquisition of Wrapp at the start of the year, Meniga has been rapidly expanding its cashback-rewards-as-a-service platform, which is the largest of its kind in the Nordics. Several of the region‘s leading banks have joined the platform to offer its digital banking users personalised cashback rewards from hundreds of participating merchants that use the platform for performance marketing. Meniga‘s rewards team in Stockholm and Helsinki now numbers 40 people and is growing fast.
In 2019, Meniga has seen an explosion in the interest of banks to offer cashback rewards as part of their digital banking user experience.
With Apple and all the leading challenger banks, such as Monzo and Revolut, recently introducing cashback rewards and other loyalty solutions to the market, incumbent banks are looking to respond swiftly.

Åsa brings more than 15 years of experience in digital product development, change management, sales & digital marketing, and holds notable previous roles, such as CEO positions for two Schibsted owned E-commerce startup companies. She possesses broad experience in selling digital marketing products to merchants as well as a strong track record in product management and UX leadership.
