Our very own Business Development Manager, Michal Bezak spoke at the event in Vienna today which took place at the British Ambassador´s Residence. Michal will also represent us tomorrow at the SIX Convention Point in Zürich where the Swiss part of the UK FinTech Mission takes place. Meniga is joined with some 30 other leading UK based FinTech companies in presenting to senior executives in Austrian, Liechtenstein, and Swiss financial institutions.

About the UK Fintech Mission

The purpose of the mission is to offer Austrian, Swiss and Liechtensteiner financial institutions the opportunity to meet a carefully selected group of potential partner companies from the United Kingdom.

It is also a chance for Swiss and Austrian financial institutions to discuss their future plans in the UK with leading UK fintech companies. The participating companies reflect the quality and potential of the UK’s sector ecosystem.

The previous Swiss Missions recorded new business worth over GBP45 million alone.

The UK remains Europe’s leading centre for FinTech. In 2018 alone, it attracted GBP12 billion of investment — of the respective EU total of GBP20 billion. The UK FinTech mission is organised by The Department for International Trade and Scottish Development International.
