Fintech continues to be a hot ticket in the world of entrepreneurship — a trend that’s increasingly set to continue as banks and traditional financial institutions move to collaborate more and more with their would-be disruptors.

Earlier this week, Silicon Republic — a leading European online publication focusing on technology news — explored what the fintech sector can bank on in 2017. They started by looking at European fintech start-ups from which they expect great things in the coming year. Meniga was selected as one of the top 25 and is in good company with startups such as London based Transferwise — a peer-to-peer money wire platform, Swedish startup Klarna — online payment business and Dublin based student loan provider Future Finance.

Silicon Republic highlights Meniga’s global deal with Santander as a clear sign for significant growth expectations as well as Meniga’s aim to further its effort and help banking services reach compliance with upcoming regulations, such as PSD2.
