Meniga’s CMO & VP Business Development Bragi Fjalldal shared insights at the ‘Fintech Future of Credit’ event hosted by Swedish publication BREAKIT at the Epicenter Disruption Hall in Stockholm this week. The theme of the event was the future of credit, fintech and banking.
During his presentation Bragi talked about the ‘3 Waves of Fintech Disruption’ and how incumbents can stay competitive through innovation. He explained how the market landscape in banking is transforming with both tech giants and new challenger banks disrupting the market.
Bragi also shared insights on Meniga’s recent acquisition of Swedish based company Wrapp and launch of the new multi-bank rewards programme that aims to rival Google and Facebook and become the leading digital advertising platform in Europe.
The event was a big success with over 200 fintech and financial services professionals attending such as Swedbank, ICA Banken, SEB, iZettle, VISA, Lendo, Handelsbanken, Lendify, Kameo and more. The energy was high in the room and apparent that there is excitement in the fintech scene in Europe.
